Ken Sawo-Wiwa Memorial Park

The Ken Saro-Wiwa Memorial Park is a project of Ken-Saro-Wiwa Foundation. It is presently funded by the Wiwa Family, with the contribution from FOWA-USA. The park has the Burial site of Ken Saro-Wiwa and when completed, will extend to the nearby river with a mangrove forest and wetland area.

The land on which the Ken Saro-Wiwa Park sitswas donated by the bane community in Khana local government Area of Ogoni. Apart from the beautiful flowers and tress, the park will house a library, museum, hall and exhibition centre. isitors to the park can expect to experience the beauty of nature, find space to learn, meditate and hopefully lead to inspiration from the community that produced a man of ideas, Ken Saro-Wiwa.
